Shabnum Graduated with a BSc Hons from The University of Aberdeen. She continued to focus on her passion and her efforts continued in her studies at postgraduate level to specialise in clinical health psychology. Shabnum is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and is also COSCA counselling certified. Shabnum began her career as a clinical psychologist at a renowned private hospital in Edinburgh treating patients with varying degrees of mental health illnesses and trauma. On completion of her 4 year contract, Shabnum took a career break and dived into the Energy industry working in various areas of the sector for companies such as; James Fisher, Fugro and Ocean Infinity. Given Shabnum’s strong understanding of the Energy Industry and her expertise in Mental Health, Shabnum has now taken on a role as Director of Clinical Psychology at Integrity HSE, working with Steve Harris (MD) and Darrell Lines (Director of Risk & Safety). In this role, Shabnum heads up the organisation’s service of Health and Mental Health clients to proactively deliver professional support to the industry and their personnel.
