Neil is a Chartered Occupational Hygienist with over 25 years industrial experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing, the nuclear sector and 15 years within the offshore oil and gas industry dealing with the entire range of industrial hygiene issues. Over the last 5 years, Neil has been part of the HSE’s Energy Division working and leading the IH team offshore. Neil is a past President of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and is a Chartered Fellow of the Faculty. Since starting with HSE, he has a sound understanding of safety case assessment, frontline health inspection, investigation and enforcement processes. As part of this experience, it has been vital to work alongside multi-disciplinary teams on and offshore, allowing him to expand his knowledge and share good practice across HSE resulting in a more effective team approach.
