Dr David Leiper
Born and schooled in Aberdeen, Dr Leiper Graduated Glasgow University Medical School in 1997 and spent the early years of his career as a Principal in General Practice. Moving back to Aberdeen in 2004 he worked in unscheduled care and Accident and Emergency Medicine before venturing into Occupational Medicine by joining Capita Health and Wellbeing as a Screening Physician conducting Offshore Medicals. Retraining in Occupational Medicine, Dr Leiper is a Consultant Occupational Health Physician who has acted as Medical Advisor to Energy Sector Operators including Total Energies, Repsol Sinopec and CNR. He was Hyperbaric Physician to SubSea 7 and away from the Energy Sector was Occupational Health Consultant to NHS Orkney and Stagecoach Buses. He joined Harbour Energy in December of 2021 and leads the Occupational Health Team based here in Aberdeen at Rubislaw House
