Fiona’s career spans almost 30 years and is grounded in the energy industry, with work also across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and food & beverage. Fiona has worked globally including an ex-pat assignment in Equatorial Guinea. Fiona has always had a passion for safety, and she specializes in management systems, training and employee engagement. Fiona co-chairs the award-winning “Major Accident Hazard Understanding Workgroup” with Step Change in Safety and, for the last year, has worked as Program Delivery Manager with the organisation. In this role, Fiona facilitates the Human Factors, Competence, and Lifting workgroups. Fiona enjoys maintaining her own professional knowledge through reading, podcasts, short courses, event attendance and remaining curious.
